Happy Canada Day....

This was how we spent our morning, on the patio of Phils! Candace Seeber is back in Canada for a visit from New Zealand.. lucky us

Lisa and I spent an entire Canada Day afternoon catching up on sleep. Aren't we full of life these days... and feeling a tad guilty about not seizing the day and getting in on the party at Prince's Island Park. Sometimes sleep is important tho. Just think of the energy we will have for the fireworks tonight!!!

Climbing, Falling, Hiking, Jumping

Climbing in K country with Layne, Natalie, Sarah (Natalie's friend) and I was, unfortunately for Layne, kind of eventful!

He fell....

off the rock face he was climbing..

yep....

nope, Natalie didn't catch him...

oops.

Good thing it was only 10 feet or so.

Then there was Layne's shoes.... hello toes!

So that concludes the Climbing and Falling portion of this evenings blog..

But the day wouldn't have been complete with out hiking...

So on to jumping, yep jumping.

Verbal Constipation

Grade 8 earth science...
Apperently one day I could not find it within myself to shut my mouth. Mr teacher man announced to the class that I had verbal diarrhea. It's contagious, and since it's contagious, he was going to send me out of the class room but I gave a convincing argument as to why I should stay. True story. Today, 10 years later, I still have it. It's horrible. I can't shut my mouth when I should. People don't need to know everything about me, nor do they probably want to know that much. A very wise friend once told me that everyone is only concerned about themselves anyways. Thanks Amanda. But somehow, if people ask the right questions, I spill everything.

I'm learning, slowly, to be a little more verbally constipated!

Spears is in da house! Yes, there was a murder mystery dinner and yes, I was Britney Spears. So graciously hosted by J.J Abrams, aka Darwin, we gathered for the funeral of one very dead Tom Cruise. And to figure out, or just accuse, who off'd him! Here are some of the celebs in attendance...
